It may be a big site but there is a near perfect spot for everybody; just need to look around.

If you need help there are a few ways:
Check the FAQ.
Submit a question to the Help Desk.
Live support can be found in help channels on Chat.
You may also be able to find answers in the Forum.

Some things to keep in mind:
Use the Reply button to respond to something someone posts. If you just add another message instead of using the reply, the message will be posted but the user will NOT be notified.
If you wish to tell something to someone privately, you can do it in a Note. Visit their main page and you will see the option to Send a note.

Don't forget:

_{Keep in mind that when you do submit art, dA is a community that encourages comments and critiques. Unless you are on dial-up, it is preferred that you are able to upload larger dimensions. With screen resolutions being on average now 1280x1024 and some common wide screens being 1920x1200, larger versions will be more welcomed. During submission, feel free to change the Fullview Size but then also check the Allow download of original (full-sized) image box.}
